Our funeral reception venue is only 25 minutes from Oxford, 11 minutes by car from Didcot Parkway and has easy access to the A34, M4 and M40. We also have free onsite car parking available for those driving.
Private Dining Rooms for Wakes
At Milton Hill House we understand how this can be a difficult time and after the funeral service, you will need somewhere private for you to gather together and reflect on their life, as well as take the time to simply be together. That’s why we offer many different private dining rooms for you to hire. Our Wisteria Suite can hold up to 144 people for a private dinner and our Library can hold up to 20 if you would prefer a more intimate celebration of life.

Our funeral wake venue in Oxfordshire has a bar where you can get a range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If you’d like to raise a glass to your loved one, we can offer Champagne that our servers can distribute. If you would like to display a book of condolences for the attendees to sign, there is plenty of room in our function rooms.
These can then be taken home by the family to aid their healing. Our venue is equipped with fantastic audio-visual technology so if you would like to show videos or pictures then you will be able to show these during the funeral reception.
